This website is written using HTML5, Bootstrap, and CSS3. I'm hosting it on AWS in an S3 container. There's a page of this site devoted to ongoing programming projects and links to check out more.
I originally wanted to host a WordPress site on AWS, with full failover, load balancing, and security. That proved to be too financially intense due to hosting costs. So, I'll be experimenting with this format and later, probably with a Django site. I'm trying to find pricing for hosting a Django blog with AWS.
Where am I from? Why am I here? Is that a goat?
I'm from the US. I grew up in Oklahoma, spent a few years in Texas, and lived a few more in Atlanta, Georgia to be specific. Atlanta was my favorite. I'm here because of my husband's work. His current situation lasts until the summer of 2021 and then we'll see what's next. And, yes, that's a goat.
Meetok is a small plastic toy representing a kodoma from the anime movie, Princess Mononoke. My best friend's children sent him to me and we play a game where I take photos of Meetok around the UK and make up stories about him.
So, in this section I will integrate a blog feature or try out the instagram connection features. The possibilities will be fun to research.
